The Story
Increasing climate variability required a modern, responsive approach to weather-related risk management. A national digital early warning system was envisioned to improve the timeliness, reach, and effectiveness of weather alerts. Our team was engaged to design and implement a digital platform integrating mobile and web technologies with existing meteorological systems.
Problem Statement
Existing alert dissemination mechanisms were manual, fragmented, and slow, particularly in reaching remote and vulnerable populations. Delays in communication reduced preparedness and increased the human and economic impact of extreme weather events.
